Temporary Traffic Control Plans
AEI conceptualizes the sequencing of construction projects in order to optimize mobility, safety, cost and constructability. Early in the design phase we evaluate multiple construction alternatives, which may include part-width construction, full and partial closures and/or temporary pavement construction. Throughout the design process, AEI continues to coordinate with the project team to ensure that the proposed staging addresses all design elements (i.e. drainage, utilities, geometric changes, bridge work, etc).
AEI has designed temporary traffic control plans for freeway and non-freeway road and bridge projects, ranging from small scale projects to some of the largest construction projects in the state of Michigan. We follow current design standards and established industry practices to plan for the safe and efficient movement of traffic through the work zone.
Transportation Management Plan (TMP)
AEI has developed TMP's for numerous road and bridge projects. Each TMP includes a Temporary Traffic Control Plan (TTCP), a Traffic Operations Plan (TOP), and a Public Information Plan (PIP). A properly developed TMP for a project maximizes safety and constructability while minimizing delays to the traveling public.
